A memorandum of cooperation (MoC) was signed between the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality and the University of Applied Science on Wednesday.
The MoC was inked in order to implement the general policies of Qom Municipality and to promote the knowledge and skills of green space experts, workers, and contractors.
It also aimed at providing a platform for the graduates’ self-employment and conducting research in the field of development, preservation and promotion of urban green space.
Promoting professional competencies of activists, experts, contractors and workers in the green space sector, improving the quality of services and green space in accordance with the necessary standards, planning, implementing and supporting the citizenship training on green space conservation were among the main issues of the memorandum.
Attending the signing meeting, the director general of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality stressed the importance of green space workers’ training.
Payam Javadian also said that the workers’ expertise plays a significant role in gaining people’s trust in the municipality.
Moreover, Mahdi Mobini, head of Qom Municipality Applied Science University said we are ready to hold citizenship and personnel training courses and workshops.
