Technical and Civil Deputy of Qom Municipality says using local human forces and materials in the implementation of urban projects is on the top agenda of Qom Municipality.
Touching upon the urban mangers’ emphasis on using the local forces, Abbas Halvaei Zadeh said in the past few years, many efforts were made for this purpose, and we are now proudly use local and national materials, equipment, and human resources in the urban projects.
In the past, mechanical and electronic equipment and all materials of some special projects were imported, Halvaei Zadeh noted, adding Qom Municipality in cooperation with local manufacturers have tried much to localize the process of urban projects implementation.
Referring to the use of local human resources in the implementation of urban projects, he stated that we attempted to get small contractors increase their grades and show their technical ability.
Technical and Civil Deputy of Qom Municipality went on to say that in order to reduce costs, all the materials and human resources that were used in large urban projects, like buildings construction, landscaping, etc. were local.
He finally reiterated that we have always striven to contract and select manpower and materials in a way that promotes the project, reduces costs and increases productivity.
