Head of City Council says Qom in need for more police stations

While commemorating National Police week, the head of Qom City Council has said the city needs more police stations.

Hossein Eslami made the remarks at the 56th official and public meeting of the Islamic City Council on Tuesday.

The towns of Fatemiyah, Sheikhabad and Aliabad Saadgan are among the important areas where the need to build a police station is felt more than some other areas, the councilor stated.

The head of the Islamic City Council of Qom, stressing the plan of the enemies to create division, noted, “When the sanctions, the most successful weapon of the enemies, did not go anywhere, the enemies have put disruption of unity and cohesion on their agenda.”

Pointing to the necessity of strengthening the authority of the police force, he asserted that in proportion to the impairment of the authority of the police, public security will also be impaired.

Touching upon the defeat of the enemies in the combined war, Eslami concluded that in such a situation, the enemy tries to question and undermine the principle of national unity.
