Qom Municipality holds welcoming ceremony for pilgrims in passenger terminals

The head of Qom Municipality Passenger Terminals Organization announced the holding of the welcoming ceremony for the pilgrims of the Karimeh of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)  on her birthday anniversary and the beginning of the Decade of Benevolence.

According to the news unit of the Passenger Terminals Organization of Qom Municipality, Seyyed Reza Hosseini made the announcement touching upon the arrival of the birthday of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (PBUH) and the beginning of the Decade of Benevolence (the ten days between the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) and his brother, the eighth Shia Imam).

In this regard, Qom Municipality has provided various programs, especially in the cultural field that holding welcoming ceremonies for the pilgrims of the holy city of Qom in the passenger terminals were part of that, he stated.

He noted that this ceremony was held in the presence of a number of municipality’s managers and servants of the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH).

He went on to say that about 7,000 pilgrims were welcomed at the ceremony.

The Head of Qom Municipality Passenger Terminals Organization added, “Cultural programs such as donating flowers, cultural packages, holy shrine congratulatory packages and live performance of the anthem group were also held next to catering station.”
