The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality announced the preparation of the municipality for benevolence decade celebrations, elaborating on the plans and activities.
Mehdi Kalantarzadeh made the announcement on Tuesday while congratulating Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) birth anniversary and the beginning of the celebrations of the Decade of Benevolence (the ten days between the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) and his brother, the eighth Shia Imam).
The city administration of Qom owes itself to Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) and the servants of the city, as in previous years, have made various plans to hold more glorious celebrations of the Decade of Benevolence, he said.
He said that one of the programs is the implementation of the caravan of happiness with the participation of volountary organizations and groups.
The Chief communication officer went on to note that coordination for the preparation of flowers for the holy shrine has been done by the General Directorate of Communications and International Affairs and the Cultural, Social and Sports Organization of the municipality.
Furthermore, the Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality asserted that simultaneously with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) and the beginning of the celebrations of the Decade of Benevolence, the sky of the city will be illuminated by fireworks and in cooperation with Qom Municipality.
