With the cooperation of the Social, Cultural and Sports Organization of Qom Municipality and the General Directorate of Education of the province, 14 teachers active in the field of promoting citizenship culture were honored.
The “Citizen Teacher” ceremony was held aiming at honoring and appreciating teachers and educators active in promoting the culture of citizenship and educating exemplary citizens.
Narjes Niazmand, a member of the presiding board of the Islamic City Council of Qom, Seyyed Ahmad Tabatabaeinejad, head of the Cultural, Social and Sports Organization of Qom Municipality, and a group of teachers participated in the event which was held at the Zein al-Din Martyrs Museum.
In this ceremony, 14 teachers who played a significant role in promoting the culture of citizenship among students were presented with a plaque of appreciation.
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ahmad Tabatabaeinejad, head of the Cultural, Social and Sports Organization of Qom Municipality, emphasized the readiness of Qom Municipality to interact with education authorities in order to promote citizenship culture.
