The governor of Qom says due to the coincidence of different national and religious occasions, a good contribution has formed over the past few months, and harmony among bodies improved compared to the past years.
Seyyed Mohammad Taghi Shahcheraghi made the remarks on the sidelines of a visit to the smart Traffic Control Center of the Municipality and the General Directorate of Highways and Road Transport.
Stressing the services of Qom Municipality Travel Facilities Headquarters, he appreciated the municipality’s efforts and support for Nowruz facilities.
He went on to add that due to the coincidence of different national and religious occasions, a good contribution has formed over the past few months, and harmony among bodies improved compared to the past years.
Referring to the lack of tourism infrastructure in Qom, he said, “To compensate for some of the housing shortages in this province, the space of a number of schools and sports halls was allocated for this purpose.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the governor noted that one million 600 thousand travel registrations have been done in Qom during the past two weeks.
During this period, the number of traffic accidents has decreased compared to the same period last year, he added.
