140 surveillance cameras working in Qom

The director of the Smart Traffic Control Center of Qom Municipality said that the video monitoring of the city is done by about 140 surveillance cameras.

Vahid Borzoo made the remarks during the visit of the provincial governor and governor of Qom to the Smart Traffic Control Center of Qom Municipality.

Referring to the round the clock activities of the center, he stated, “During Nowruz, one of the most important monitoring by the systems of this center is the 72-tan Square, so that the traffic junctions due to the presence of passengers, can be observed by various cameras and necessary action can be taken to solve the problems.”

He then reiterated that the video monitoring of the city is done by about 140 surveillance cameras.

In 72 -tan Square, cameras are fully coordinated with the traffic police, and violations are monitored, identified, and enforced by the police. This registration of violations began about a month ago, he added.

He concluded that One of the problems is the lack of communication between municipal systems and Traffic police, in which Qom municipality is a pioneer in the country and the server was provided by the municipality, and the only problem was communication through intranet between Qom and Tehran police, which we hope will be resolved earlier this year.
