The governor of Qom says the attention of Qom Municipality for the development of infrastructure in deprived areas is admirable and should be appreciated.
Morteza Heydari made the remarks on Monday in the 29th official and public session of the Islamic City Council of Qom, referring to the proposed budget of 1401 of Qom Municipality and the projects intended to be implemented in deprived areas.
He stated that resolving the problems of deprived areas should be a priority for Qom Municipality.
Touching upon the importance of increasing cultural budgets in Qom Municipality he noted that the enemy’s media, with their media facilities and power, are regularly spreading hatred against efficient revolutionary institutions.
The governor went on to add that the city council is a manifestation of the governance of the people over the people.
A convincing explanation of the measures and efforts taken to increase public welfare must be provided to citizens in the form of promotional, cultural and educational programs, he stressed.
He reiterated that the attention to less-privileged areas in the budget of Qom Municipality is admirable, which shows the general approach of the municipality to these areas.
Immediate measures must be taken to solve the problems of some areas and neighborhoods of Qom, he added.
