The acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality has declared that a system will soon be installed on Qom taxis to introduce the city’s historical and tourism sites.
This system is being designed and its implementation is foreseen in the taxi organization document, said Masoud Tabibi in an interview on Thursday.
Tabibi also noted that the system is intended to automatically introduce the city’s historical and tourism sites in audio and video format to the tourists who travel by taxi in the city.
According to the plan, the system will be installed on the taxis whose drivers are able to communicate with tourists, the municipal official added.
He went on to say that Qom citizens can also enjoy the system and become familiar with various urban places, some of which remain unknown.
The municipality of Qom had already taken several measures in order to develop tourism industry in the city of Qom.
The acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality had formerly announced that that we are consulting with the private sector to activate tourist buses in Qom.
He also stated “special barcodes are to be installed on the city signs of historical places so that tourists can easily access these places.”
