For the first time in the country, Qom Municipality is implementing a plan to support environmentally friendly buildings and provide special incentives to builders and building owners.
The municipality of Qom implements environmentally friendly buildings plan with the cooperation of engineering and environmental elites of the country.
Due to the logical and optimal performance of components in such buildings, living in sustainable buildings is more comfortable and economical than living in conventional ones.
In this regard, Qom Municipality along with other organizations like water and sewage companies, electricity distribution, telecommunications, etc. grant special financial and credit incentives to the owners and constructors of green buildings.
Some of these incentives (such as special discounts on construction tolls) are intended for a limited period of time and apply only to a small number of citizens who are quicker to improve the environmental quality of their buildings.
It was announced in August that within the ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan, the Qom Municipality will soon begin a project to support the construction and development of environmentally friendly buildings to promote citizenship health.
As mentioned, the most important goals of this project include taking an important step in achieving the Qom Municipality’s 1404 strategic plan to provide a green city and paving the way to improve the citizens’ lifestyle by modifying the body of residential, educational and office living spaces.
