The mayor of Qom has appointed Dr. Masoud Tayebi as the acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of municipality in a decree issued on August 26.
Creating necessary conditions for smooth urban traffic through improving the performance of the network of public transportation facilities and tunnels, managing supply and demand of travel and managing traffic using modern technologies in the framework of the Qom Vision document 1414 are emphasized, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad wrote in the appointment decree.
Saghaiannejad also referred to designing and modifying the geometry of urban roads, upgrading the citizenship culture, and developing passenger and freight transport as the other main duties of the caretaker of transportation and traffic deputy of municipality.
Over the last few days, the mayor also appointed Abbas Zakerian as the deputy of municipal services of Qom municipality. Zakerian previously served as the Qom Municipality Deputy of Transportation and Traffic.
Moreover, following Gholamreza Janghorban’s pass away, Dr. Saghaiannejad appointed Masoud Milani as the acting Deputy of Qom Municipality’s Urban Planning and Architecture in a decree issued on Sunday.
Masoud Milani was previously in charge of the General Department of Supervision of Urban Planning Qom Municipality’s Deputy for Urban Planning and Architecture.
In the meantime, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad had been reinstated as mayor of Qom for the third time by the Islamic City Council on August 7.
