The director-general of Qom Municipality Passenger Terminals Organization announced the transfer of 52,936 passengers from the terminals of the province during Nowruz (Persian new year) this year.
Reza Pouriafar, referring to the services provided by the Terminals Organization during the Nowruz period, stated: 3,772 services have been provided to the people by bus, taxi, and minibus during the Nowruz.
He announced the transfer of 52,936 passengers from the terminals of the province during the Nowruz holidays this year and adding during the Nowruz holidays, 6 terminals and a parking lot provided services to passengers.
He went on to say that the inspection patrol unit of the organization, in order to maintain the safety of the trips, continuously examined the terminals and checked the condition of the buses, and if necessary, the offending drivers were fined.
Touching upon the service provided to passengers at the 72-tan terminal, he noted that on average, about 40 buses were sent to Tehran daily from the terminal, and during Nowruz, about 520 services were sent to Tehran from the 72-tan terminal.
