Mayor of Qom stated that supporting the establishment of cultural centers in is one of our policies in urban management field.
Morteza Saghaiannejad referred to the municipality’s support for the formation of the Hazrat Khadijeh Cultural Institute on the Great Prophet Boulevard in Qom and noted that launching cultural centers is on our agenda.
He went on to add that the Boulevard of the Great Prophet (PBUH) is an identity boulevard in the city of Qom, and the municipality provides the necessary support to donors to establish cultural centers there.
pointing out that the municipalities have responsibilities in the field of culture, Saghaiannejad said that, “One of the main concerns of the Supreme Leader in the current situation is the issue of culture.”
He further reiterated that in line with this concern of the Supreme Leader, one of our goals in Qom Municipality is measures that can play a constructive role in the issue of culture.
Touching upon that centers such as the Hazrat Khadijeh Cultural Institute are a cultural producer, the Qom mayor asserted that the municipality allocated a land to this institution with the approval of the Islamic Council of Qom, while adding that we are going to play a role in the excavation process to build the institute.
Additionally, the mayor of Qom considered the creation of a cultural atmosphere in the Boulevard of the Great Prophet as a concern of the city management.
He concluded that one of our goals is to create pilgrimage houses on this Boulevard to provide both facilities for pilgrims and also a basis for better understanding of religious leaders.
