The mayor of Qom congratulated the arrival of Navy Day in a message.
The text of Dr. Saqaian Nejad’s message is as follows:
In every corner of the vast land of Islamic Iran, zealous and unassuming freemen protect the integrity of this holy system and strive with all their might for its security and authority.
The brave men of the navy have always been able to display the strength and authority of Islamic Iran in front of the eyes of the world and keep the sense of security and peace alive in the hearts of millions of Iranians.
We commemorate Navy Day and the anniversary of the victorious “Pearl” operation in the waters of the Persian Gulf to defend the water borders of Islamic Iran and the heavy defeat of the Baath regime in Iraq, and once again we pay our respects to the precious martyrs of this pillar of the holy system of Islamic Iran.
I hope that the success of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in the field of readiness, self-sufficiency and progress, which is one of the most basic military strategies to deal with enemy threats, will be sustained under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
