The head of the Qom City Council pointed out that we are looking for fair distribution in different areas of the city, saying the Shohaday-e Amniat Tunnel project in the continuation of Islamic Republic Boulevard will connect District 4, which is considered one of the privileged areas, to District 2 and, the less-privileged areas.
Dr. Hossein Eslami made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the new phase of the “Qom on the path of development” project in order to open, operate and start the implementation of 218 urban projects worth 29 thousand billion rials.
The Wednesday meeting was held in the conference hall of Qom Municipality with the presence of Dr. Ahmed Vahidi, Minister of Interior.
The Islamic City Council of Qom has put the implementation of construction projects in underprivileged neighborhoods on the agenda and has formed a committee for this issue, the councilor stated.
