The CEO of Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality announced the construction of Niayesh Park’s Solar Power Plant as the 15th solar power plant of the municipality.
Payam Javadian made the announcement stating that since the end of 2018, the construction of solar power plants has been on the agenda of the Parks Organization.
Fortunately, we managed to build 15 solar power plants from 5 kW to 20 kW in several parks of the city, some of which are connected to the network and some of which are active for internal consumption, he said.
He emphasized that the wireless center solar power plant and the city council building power plant are among these power plants.
A new 5 kW power plant has been built in Niayesh Park, District 5, and it will be connected to the electricity distribution network of Qom city in the upcoming days, he added.
Referring to the efforts of the city manager to use renewable and new energies, he noted, “In recent years, apart from solar power plants, some other measures have also been taken to equip the sanitary facilities and service centers of the city’s parks with solar water heaters.”
