The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality says more than 120 bus services have been provided to Qom Education Department by the municipality during the last 8 months.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the remarks at the Qom Province Education Council meeting.
Regarding the request of the Education Department about the provision of buses for holding one-day camps, he stated that according to the rules, the bus organization can not provide services in suburban areas.
But in line with providing services inside the city, over 120 services have been provided to Education Department with a 20% discount during the last 8 months, he said.
From an interactive point of view, if coordination is established between Education Department and the Qom Municipality bus organization, we can provide better services, he noted.
He underlined that the capacity of the private sector should be used for suburban area services, and in this regard, a necessary memorandum of understanding should be concluded with the passenger terminal organization of the municipality.
