The director general of Coordination and Supervision of Municipal Services of Qom Municipality announced the holding of specialized safety and health training courses for more than 1650 sweepers and municipal service forces for the first time.
Seyyed Mohsen Mirhadi made the announcement pointing out that the workers in the field of urban services are responsible for tasks such as cleaning and sweeping the roads, collecting and transporting the waste, dredging, washing, etc.
Every year, we witness accidents sweepers face during work, which makes it necessary to increase their level of awareness, he stated.
All the things that lead to the prevention of diseases and accidents should be taught in a scientific and practical way to those who are the protectors of the environment of our city, he said.
Emphasizing that the purpose of holding this training course is to increase their level of awareness regarding compliance with the principles of safety, health and during activity, he added, “We are trying to take effective steps in the field of reducing work-related accidents for hardworking sweepers by holding such specialized training continuously.”
