9 cameras in central core of Qom connected to SIMFA system

The director of the Smart Traffic Control Center of Qom Municipality says there are nine active cameras in the central core of Qom which are connected to the SIMFA system and soon law enforcement will be done by these cameras.

Vahid Borzou made the comments referring to the control of vehicles without technical inspection by cameras in the city of Qom.

He announced the traffic of more than 4 thousand cars in the central core of the city without technical inspection in one day, adding that we are now able to identify the cars without technical inspections and fine them.

The Smart Traffic Control Center of Qom Municipality has connected the cameras of the city center to the SIMFA system, i.e. the integrated system of Iran’s vehicle technical inspection, in coordination with the country’s vehicle technical inspection headquarters and in cooperation with the General Department of Environment and the Traffic Police of Qom province.

In this project, which will be fully implemented soon by connecting all the cameras in the city to the SIMFA smart system, the law will be applied to cars and motorcycles without technical inspection and a continuous fine will be issued for these cars.
