Proper incentives needed to encourage people to reconstruct Qom urban decay

The CEO of the Organization of Improvement and Renovation around the Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) says the city management group needs to apply proper incentives to encourage people to reconstruct urban decay.

Alireza Khaki made the remarks at the meeting of the strategic headquarters of the Holy Shrines Development Fund which was held in the meeting hall of the Coordination of Pilgrim Affairs.

Loan payments have existed since the past, but due to the presence of some obstacles in urban decay, these loans have not been fruitful, he stated.

Operation of the metro, construction of the Ghadir tunnel, completion of phase 5 of Ammar Yaser, etc. are among the projects that will be effective in encouraging people to renew buildings in the core around the Holy Shrine, he added.

The aid package of the fund must be completed and then introduced to the investors, also until the new plan of the area around the shrine is approved by the Article 5 commission, we cannot hold a meeting with the investors, he noted.

In the end, he mentioned that we hope to achieve good things in Qom due to the good cooperation that exists in the province and by using the capacities of the fund.
