A member of Qom Islamic City Council says the city has always had shortages in the provision of accommodation beds, and the approach of Qom city council and municipality has always been towards solving this gap in the city.
Majid Akhavan made the comments in the meeting of the Urban Development and Architecture Commission of the Qom Islamic City Council, which was held on the topic of organizing the Travelers’ settling.
The city of Qom has always had shortages in the field of providing accommodation beds, and the approach of the city council and the municipality of Qom has always been towards solving this gap in the city.
He then announced the existence of incentive policies for the construction of motels in the municipality.
The arrangement of guest houses has also been one of the issues pursued by the city council since last year, he noted.
But guest houses always have minimum standards for accommodating travelers, and the inability to provide parking for guest houses is only one of the problems of these places of residence, he added.
