The deputy of Urban Planning and Architecture of Qom Municipality announced the formation of the municipality’s adaptation committee for people with disability and the compilation of guidelines for this committee.
Majid Mateenfard made the announcement referring to the lack of welfare services and special facilities for the disabled in the city.
Recognizing the harms of this area and interacting with the target community can pave the way to improve the situation, he underlined.
He further announced the drafting of a guideline entitled the Committee for Adaptation of Qom Municipality this year.
Pursuing the operationalization and implementation of approved municipal budgets and provincial approvals related to adaptation, monitoring and evaluating the degree of fulfillment of provincial and national regulations, approvals and policies, and creating coherence, unity of action and preventing parallel activities in carrying out adaptation work in regions and organizations are among the goals of this instruction, he explained.
