The deputy of Qom Municipality’s Information and Communication Technology Organization announced the launch of the first phase of the second site and Data Center Support of the municipality in March.
Today, due to the electronicization of most municipal services, it is very important for all systems to be stable and active 24 hours a day, and this issue requires sufficient and powerful software and hardware infrastructure, Mohammad Taghi Hakimi said.
Stressing the prediction of crisis conditions, he noted, “For various reasons, a situation may arise where the data center or central data center suffers from problems and disruptions, so the existence of a second data center and for support in critical conditions is very necessary.”
He went on to add that since the beginning of this year, Qom Municipality has been trying to set up a backup site for its data center, which is currently in the stage of equipping.
According to the forecasts and plans, in March of this year, the first phase of the second and supporting site of the municipality data center will be launched, he remarked.
