The head of the Legal and Supervision Commission of Qom Islamic City Council says six special charitable organizations in the field of health are active in Qom, hoping that the number of these organizations to increase day by day.
Mohsen Moharreri made the remarks at the 64th official and public meeting of the Qom Islamic City Council.
He announced the number of charitable organizations in Qom city in the field of health as 6 centers, adding, “Six special charitable organizations in the field of health are active in Qom, hoping that the number of these organizations to increase day by day and more benefactors engage in this area.”
While congratulating National Nurses Day and appreciating their sacrifice, he said, “All government hospitals should be under the supervision of charitable institutions based on the latest government decree.”
He then drew attention to the conditions of the children’s hospital and noted that this hospital is very dilapidated and its building does not match the number of patients it accepts and its land is no longer capable of development.
If a suitable land is found, the municipality and city council as well as donors are ready to cooperate to build an equipped and up-to-date children’s hospital in Qom, and the city council and municipality will help in the tax payments, he concluded.
