A member of Qom City Council said the neighborhood-centered approach and budget allocation should be consistent with each other, and the necessary resources for the implementation of these programs should be considered in urban and provincial administration, which we are trying to reflect in the formulation of the 1402 budget.
Masoumeh Amereh made the remarks on the sidelines of visiting the exhibition of the capabilities of neighborhoods in Qom province titled “Meghdad”.
Pointing to the important effect of neighborhoods in urban development in various aspects, she stated, “The development of Qom city is based on the neighborhood-centered and mosque-centered approach.”
It is a mechanism that is proposed in order to emphasize the role of neighborhoods and the participation of citizens as much as possible in the fair distribution of services committee, she added.
During the past year, The neighborhood committee of Qom Islamic City Council has had meetings and field visits with managers and trustees of 116 Qom neighborhoods to assess problems, she underscored.
