Landfill of daily waste in Qom to be reached zero

The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality said with the start of work and operation of processing line number 2 of the Alborz site, the burial of the total daily production waste in Qom city reaches zero.

Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the comments during a visit to processing line number 2 of the Alborz site which is under construction.

On a Sunday visit, the deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality paid a visit to the progress of projects of the waste management organization located in the Alborz site complex.

In a conversation with some of the employees working at the site, while emphasizing the need to comply with environmental indicators and standards in the urban waste processing and compost production center, he stressed the importance of addressing some of their problems.

He also visited the welfare and service building for employees working at the Alborz site and the center for converting recycled nylons into granules.

These two projects are among the other projects of the Waste Management Organization that will soon be opened and put into operation, he concluded.
