A member of the Tehran Islamic City Council said Resistance Tourism is associated with urban development, noting there is no place in the world that does not follow resistance.
Narjes Soleimani made the remarks in a message to the first specialized Resistance Tourism meeting that was organized by Qom Municipality.
There is no doubt that today, the resistance is a strategy not limited to the borders of Iran, it has reached even beyond the region of West Asia and the Islamic world, she said.
There is no place in the world that does not follow resistance. These human and logistic capitals of tourism in this area should be seen beyond the specific geographical area, she stated.
And of course, if all these capacities are put together, it will lead to auspicious events in the urban development of this area and even the growth of its citizens, she added.
Qom Municipality has hosted first specialized meeting of Resistance Tourism with the presence of the activists of the cities and countries of the resistance geography.
The meeting was held Monday, in two sessions, morning and evening.
In this meeting, the speakers discussed and explained the strategic issue of resistance tourism and its future capacities, how to convey the concepts and discourse of resistance in the context of tourism, the capacities of resistance tourism, the preparation of a strategic document for resistance tourism, international resistance tourism, and the economy of culture and resistance tourism.
