The municipality of Qom prioritizes developing green space in urban decay, Payam Javadian stated.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality made the comments while touching upon the construction of the parks in urban decay neighborhoods.
He reiterated that one of the approaches of the urban management group in the green space arena is the development of urban decay neighborhoods in order to revive the texture and create attraction for the development of the neighborhood.
Javadian asserted that one of the parks that was on our agenda this year, and its construction work was done last year is in the Nobahar neighborhood, located in the municipality of District 1.
The municipality official further highlighted that the planting design of the complex has been carried out, and efforts have been made in the planting design to have the minimum levels of lawns in accordance with the technical principles and the beauty of the landscape and to use species that are compatible and suitable with the climatic conditions of Qom.
Earlier, the Director General of Roads and Urban Development announced that to support the neighborhoods with the purpose of regeneration, urban decay projects around the Holy Shrine and informal settlements, authority was delegated to the regeneration headquarters of Qom province
