The General Director of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality says Martyr Zolfaghari went to the war (Iraq-Iran) in the form of leave from the municipality during the imposed war, and he truly deserved the title of the first and only sweeper martyr of the Sacred Defense.
Mehdi Kalantarzadeh made the remarks referring to the newly-Identified sweeper martyr of Sacre Defense at the ritual of dusting the tomb of Martyr Hossein Zulfaghari.
The municipality of Qom had taken serious measures to identify the grave of this sweeper martyr of Qom since the past months, he stated.
He further appreciated the Martyr Foundation and the Affairs of the Martyrs and the General Department of Endowments and Charitable Affairs for their assistance in identifying this sweeper martyr’s grave and other information.

The General Director of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality added that the holy province of Qom dedicated 222 employee martyrs to the Islamic Revolution, but the real employee martyrs could be more than this number.
