The mayor of Qom announced the support of the municipality for infrastructure measures in the field of citizenship culture.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the comments at the meeting of the Qom Municipality Cultural, Social and Sports Organization Council.
To promote the culture of citizenship in Qom, it is necessary to carry out continuous joint programs and actions with the cooperation and interaction of other bodies and institutions, including the education sector, he said.
Emphasizing the need to increase operational programs in the field of citizenship culture, he stated, “One of the main tasks of the municipality is to promote the culture of citizenship and it is necessary to develop operational and field programs in this area in the entire the city.”
There may be many charters and theories in articles and documents in the field of citizenship culture but what is important for the Qom urban management sector is the field implementation and impact along with the influence and promotion of topics related to this area.”
The Qom Islamic Council is expected to provide the necessary funds for the promotion of citizenship culture in the approval of the next year’s budget of the Qom Cultural, Social and Sports Organization, he asserted.
