The Chairman of the Urban Planning and Architecture Commission of the Islamic City Council of Qom have has said organizing the urban decay and improving the entrances of Qom city is considered one of the most important programs of the urban management sector.
Ruhollah Amrollahi made remarks touching upon the development of the city in the last two decades.
In the last two decades, urban management has been able to do a lot of work in providing and completing infrastructure, but in the visual field, we are still far from ideal conditions, he said.
Elaborating on the projects implemented in the past 5 years, The head of the Urban Planning and Architecture Commission of the Islamic Council of Qom added, “In the last 5 years, many studies have been carried out in the field of organizing the appearance and landscape of Qom city.”
He considered organizing the worn-out texture and improving the entrances of Qom city as one of the most important programs of urban management and concluded that given the geographical location of Qom city which is located in the center of the country, the entrances of the city should be organized.
