Qom’s media people visit Alborz waste processing complex

A group of journalists and Qom media people paid a visit to the Alborz Waste Processing Complex coincident with Clean Earth Week.

According to the news unit of the Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization, a group of journalists and Qom media people attended the Alborz Waste Processing Complex today and were closely informed about the measures taken by this center.
The waste separation plant was another destination for journalists who visited this place and witnessed the activity of the number one urban waste processing line.
During the visit, Seyyed Abdullah Mirabrehimi, head of the Waste Management Organization of Qom Municipality elaborated on the establishment of a processing center (No. 2) in the current year.
It is worth mentioning that in Qom city, about 650 tons of waste is produced daily, which is collected by garbage trucks from the city and transported to the Alborz site by waste trucks.
It should be noted that the Alborz site in Qom, with an area of 140 hectares, is known as a landfill site for urban waste.
