2500 m2 of Nowruz environmental ads. performed in Qom

Simultaneously with the arrival of Spring, more than 2500 square meters of urban space in different formats have been performed within the Nowruz campaign.

Qom city during Nowruz this year, unlike the last two years, which was faced with coronavirus restrictions and consequently a low volume of travelers, this year is witnessing a high volume of travelers and pilgrims entering the city.

The coincidence of the mid-Shaban and Nowruz holidays has led to extensive urban management plans for these days.

One of the important measures under the information committee of the Pilgrims Facilities and Travel Services Headquarters of Qom Municipality was to create an urban space suitable for Nowruz days.

In this regard, 2500 square meters in the form of portable banners, bridge deck, Starboard, and the roof deck of Qom-Tehran tolls and billboards at the entrance to Qom city, have been created.

Nowruz, the Iranian New Year that marks the beginning of the spring season, is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm among various Parsian communities across the world.

The word ‘now’ means new and ‘ruz’ means day, which translates to ‘a new day’. Nowruz marks the beginning of Farvardin, the first month of the Solar Hijri calendar, and is usually celebrated on March 20 or 21 globally. Considered an important day to do good deeds and speak good words, people clean their houses, buy new clothes, and cook an elaborate spread for their family and friends on this festival.
