The mayor of Qom has announced the implementation of 16 urban landmark projects during 1401, saying given the priorities, up to 5 thousand billion Tomans is currently planned within this year’s budget.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks in a Nowruz meeting with Ayatollah Arafi, head of the country’s seminaries.
Elaborating on 16 new urban projects, he said, “The capacity of Qom Municipality in the implementation of urban projects and the budget of 1401 is up to 10 thousand billion Tomans.”
Qom Municipality enjoys this capacity to implement various urban projects, but according to the priorities, up to 5 thousand billion Tomans is currently planned in this year’s budget,” he added.
The mayor then mentioned the new project of the city, including the intersection of Sadough Ferdowsi, the intersection of Keyvanfar, the cultural and recreational complex of Shahid Avini, the project of a thousand-hectare park and the study of the tunnel of Imam Musa Sadr.
Saghaiannejad, presenting a report on the events of the past years, said that organizing the urban decay requires managerial unity, credibility and encouragement of the people, as well as creating facilities, and we hope that important steps will be taken in this area.
