Managing Director of Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality has said Qom ranked third in terms of green space per capita among the country’s metropolises.
Payam Javadian made the remarks at the Basij (voluntary forces) commemoration ceremony on Wednesday.
He stated that all personnel of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality, with a voluntary spirit and with modesty, work for the development and maintenance of the city’s green space, as well as managing the possibility of tourism and recreation.
Javadian also considered the activity of Basij bases in the organization as an example of good active Basij forces in the municipality.
Basij bases of the Parks and Green Space Organization of the Municipality, under the supervision of the Basij of Qom Municipality, held many cultural, sports and social programs while enjoying good cooperation with Ali Ibn Abitaleb (AS) Corps, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality highlighted the feedback of the people at the International Tourism Exhibition.
Many people in the country consider Qom a dry city and do not know that today Qom has become the third green city in the country and enjoys the great potential for investment and tourism, he said.
