The head of the Qom Municipality Taxi Management and Supervision Organization announced the launch of the pilgrim taxi and taxi market in Qthe city of om on the eve of Nowruz.
Ali Nik made the remarks in reference to the municipality’s new taxi services.
We are trying to provide suitable services to pilgrims and travelers for the new year and with the beginning of Nowruz travels, and to provide them with appropriate welfare services, he said.
Nik also considered setting up the pilgrim taxi as one of the new services of the municipality in order to ensure the welfare of pilgrims in Qom.
He went on to add that Qom, Mashhad, and Shiraz are three cities that are mostly visited by pilgrims and in addition to pilgrims, they also have a significant number of seasonal travelers.
Examining different City’s demands, he noted that based on the needs assessment, two new types of taxis have been defined as pilgrim taxis and market taxis, and we are following it up by the Municipality Taxi Management Organization and the Qom Municipality Transport and Traffic Deputy.
