The acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality has declared that three new and smart traffic systems are launched in the city of Qom.
Dr. Masoud Tabibi made the remarks in the third meeting of “Let’s Support Each other” campaign which was held on Wednesday.
Three systems of static violation, violation of non-compliance with the longitudinal distance, and the arrival time of the bus to the station will be soon begun to work, Tabibi explained.
Making optimal use of smart systems reduces traffic hazards, he said, adding the capacity of traffic systems should be used in order to increase the citizens’ safety.
He also stressed the significant role the smart systems play on developing the capacity of roads and respecting the rights of citizens.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the municipal official announced that the system of longitudinal distance violation registration has been implemented for the first time in the country so the city of Qom can be considered a pioneer in launching this smart system.
