The third meeting of Tourism Committee of Iran’s Metropolitans Municipalities will be hosted by Qom Municipality in the very near future.
The meeting is be held in order to encourage the metropolitans’ municipalities to exchange ideas and experiences, cooperate, and provide better services to tourists across the country.
The third meeting of Tourism Committee of Iran’s Metropolitans Municipalities will be attended by deputy mayors, heads of cultural, social and sports organizations of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Arak, Ardabil, Urmia, Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Tabriz, Rasht, Zahedan, Zanjan, Shiraz, Karaj, Kermanshah, Mashhad, Hamedan and Yazd and urban tourism officials of the municipalities.
It should be mentioned that the meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, January 19, at 1:00 PM.
Attendees will discuss joint tourism programs during mid-Shaban and Nowruz celebrations and provide guidelines for cultural and tourism packages.
Moreover, 112th meeting of the metropolitans mayors, hosted by the Municipality of Tehran, was held on December 20-21.
The mayors of metropolitans discussed 1401 budget, the long-term horizon of the municipalities, cooperation between the metropolises, the election of the assembly’s chairman and secretary general in the meeting.
The meeting was also the first meeting of metropolitan mayors in the new era of urban management.
