112th meeting of Metropolitans Mayors Assembly to be hold soon

Secretary General of Iran’s Metropolitans Mayors Assembly has declared that the one hundred and twelfth meeting of the metropolitans’ mayors, hosted by the Municipality of Tehran, will be held on December 20-21.

The meeting is also the first meeting of metropolitan mayors in the new era of urban management, Kamal Moradi said.

The mayors of metropolitans will discuss 1401 budget, the long-term horizon of the municipalities, cooperation between the metropolises, the election of the assembly’s chairman and secretary general in the 112th meeting of the Metropolitans Mayors Assembly, Moradi explained.

He went on to say that meeting the first vice president, studying the opportunities and threats of the country’s 1401 budget bill, and examining the way of municipalities’ cooperation with the government will be among the other issues that will be discussed in the two-day meeting.

It should be noted that the mayors of Arak, Ardabil, Urmia, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Tabriz, Tehran, Rasht, Zahedan, Zanjan, Shiraz, Qom, Karaj, Kerman, Kermanshah, Mashhad, Hamedan and Yazd will participate in the 112th meeting of the country’s metropolitans mayors assembly.

Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad would be among participants, who is the 17th mayor after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Qom, who has been elected to this position three times by the Islamic Council of Qom.
