Nine big steps of urban management projects were realized within the framework of the “Qom on the way of development” plan by Qom municipality.
Qom municipality has started the weekly plan of ‘Qom on the path of development’ in May and with the implementation of nine projects that were carried out until August, more than 72 large urban projects with a credit of more than 10,000 billion rials were put into operation.
During the nine weeks of implementing the plan, Ghadir amusement Park and Taravat Park were inaugurated, construction operations of Kuhsar Park and the second phase of Rezvan forest park begun, the Medical Waste Disposal Center opened, environmental projects of Qom municipality launched, and Alavi Park telesiege project made available to the public.
Other projects can be referred to as beginning the executive operation of the zip line and suspension bridge of Kowsar Park and Ayatollah Marashi Najafi sidewalk, opening ‘Salam’ non-level intersection, operationalizing Martyr Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir Hakim Boulevard and direct path of non-level intersection to connect districts 4, 1, and 5, unveiling a project to support the construction and development of green buildings, etc.
As the mayor of Qom Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad said at the end of the inauguration ceremony held on the 9th week, the plan will continue to be implemented until the end of the year in order to complete many urban projects in the city.
