Participation of local investors reaches 40% in Qom’s urban projects

The head of investment affairs of Qom Municipality says 40% of investments in Qom are allocated to locals and rest of them are non-locals.

Mohammad Reza Marefat made the remarks at a virtual press conference which was held on the occasion of Qom Day with the presence of the mayor of Qom.

He announced the attraction of one thousand billion Tomans of capital in 1399 Persian year (2020).

He went on to add that the attraction of investment in the city of Qom is progressing.

The Qom municipality official then stated that Qomi investors mostly welcome small projects and added that many investors intended to benefit from the capacity of the Great Prophet (PBUH) Boulevard since this Boulevard enjoys many large and small projects.

Moreover, Marefat announced the acceleration of investment in Qom with the cooperation of the Islamic City Council of Qom and noted that during this current year, many large-scale projects on the Boulevard of the Great Prophet (PBUH) have entered the stage of construction and citizens will witness the prosperity of this boulevard soon.

He also declared the construction of the country’s largest hotel in the Boulevard and reiterated that Qom Municipality welcomes the presence of investors in the city.

The official concluded that the call for projects publishes in national and provincial newspapers, while investors can also benefit from municipality’s investment packages.
