The managing director of Qom Municipality’s Parks and Green Space Organization said that we are looking to build a solar farm in Ghadir Park to turn this center into a zero energy center.
Payam Javadian made the remarks touching upon the construction of a 50 kW solar power plant in the Research Center of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality.
In a meeting with Qom Municipality’s officials, Javadian noted that 85% process of recycling clay pots is taking place at present in the Production, Research and Training Center of the Parks and Green Space Organization.
He went on to add that at this center, we reuse a plastic jar five or six times and a clay pot more than twice, which all are collected from across the city.
Javadian referred to the process of producing wood chips in this center and added that all suitable materials are collected from across the city and transferred to this center for wood chips production.
He then stated that in addition to compost, suitable and nutritious soils are produced in this center so that we can achieve self-sufficiency in this field.
The official concluded that the Research Center of the organization is turning into a zero energy and zero waste center by taking measures such as building a solar farm.
