Director General of Qom Crisis Management has appreciated the municipality’s performance and its persistent attempt to solve the city’s crises.
Mohsen Orouji made the remarks attending the ceremony to open the winter operation plan of Qom Municipality.
Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus over the last two years, the municipality of Qom and the urban services department have consistently tried to mitigate the crisis by disinfecting the city, Orouji said.
He also acknowledged the municipality’s measures to deal with different problems, like water management in green space to solve the problem of water shortage problems.
The readiness of Qom Municipality in carrying out operations outside the province is remarkable, he noted, referring to the considerable efforts of the firefighters in rescue operations in other cities.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Director General of Qom Crisis Management stressed the need to equip the city to increase safety.
Moreover, he stated that these maneuvers should be held more, adding in the past few years, the power of the city has increased significantly with the increase of maneuvers.
The implementation of maneuvers in the two sections of oil and gas safety and school safety has had a great impact, and we hope that these maneuvers will also be performed in a worn-out area and solve the problems of this part of the city, the official further added.
