Ardabili cyclist and tourist planted saplings in Qom martyr Bonyadi Park in order to promote the culture of green space development.
Symbolic ceremony of planting saplings by the cyclist was attended by Dr. Masoud Tabibi, the acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom municipality on Saturday.
Tabibi appreciated the cultural measure of Keramat Aziz Zadeh, saying promoting the culture of green space development is a public duty and should be paid more attention.
Moreover, Aziz Zadeh noted that planting saplings, especially in cities, has a significant impact on reducing pollution and should become a public culture.
He also went on to say that using bicycles, as clean means of transportation, can play an important role in reducing traffic in cities and having clean air.
Last Monday, Keramat Aziz Zadeh, as the ambassador of peace and friendship, met the acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality.
In his meeting with Dr. Tabibi, he appreciated Qom Municipality’s measures to improve the city, calling for the development of bicycle paths.
Ardabil cyclist and tourist is going to ride in a cultural and sports movement in more than 15 provinces, with the slogan of “healthy environment, sport is the enemy of addiction”.
