The CEO of Urban Renewal Organization of Qom Municipality says we should prioritize to satisfy the city’s tourists and citizens.
Stressing the need for planning to satisfy tourists and citizens, Alireza Khaki noted that the issue should be considered as a priority in the tourism programs of the municipality.
Khaki also touched upon the issues related to the tourism, including infrastructure, introduction, management, platform building, and transportation.
In order to meet the tourists’ needs, the municipality ought to build necessary platforms in different sections, he added.
Elaborating on the Urban Renewal Organization’s measures for the prosperity of tourism, the municipal official stated that we are planning to implement comprehensive programs for the renewal of streets around the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS).
He finally referred to 20 million pilgrims who travel to Qom annually as a great opportunity that can stimulate the development, and revitalization of the city of Qom.
In its latest effort for the development of tourism in Qom, the municipality is consulting with the private sector to activate tourist buses in Qom.
Over the last few years, Qom Municipality has taken several steps to strengthen the tourism economy of Qom, attract domestic and foreign investors, and introduce the city’s tourism capacities to the citizens and tourists.
