Head of Tourism Department of Qom Municipality’s Cultural, Artistic and Sports Organization has declared that they will hold 15 specialized tours to introduce the cultural, religious, tourism, handicraft, and scientific research capacities of the city.
The specialized tours are going to be held in 15 days and 500 Qom citizens are predicted to take part in them, Hamid Naderi stated.
Naderi also said that the specialized tours will be held in six sections of Qomology, the city’s stars, the city management, historic houses, Qom souvenirs, and handicrafts.
Qomology tour started two months ago and continues until the end of the year, and specialized tour of the city’s stars, introduces the religious leaders and artists who are buried in Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) holy shrine, he noted.
The tour of the city’s management also gets the citizens familiar with urban projects such as metro, monorail, bridges, parks and other projects under construction, the municipal official added.
He went on to say that historic houses, Qom souvenirs, and handicrafts tours are respectively aimed at getting the citizens acquainted with the city’s architectural masterpieces, traditional occupations such as kilim weaving, dyeing, coppersmithing, and the city’s souvenirs, like Sohan and rug.
