“21 major urban projects implemented in Qom”

A municipal official says 21 major urban projects have been implemented in the city of Qom over a period of five years (2014-2020).

Touching upon the development plans of district four, the district manager of Qom Municipality stated that more than 3700 billion rials have been spent on the 21 major urban projects which were operationalized in this district.

Mehdi Esfahanian Moghaddam highlighted the important role the projects played in strengthening the service per capita of the region in various fields and increasing the citizens’ satisfaction, referring to the construction of access road to the mosque of Hazrat Khezr Nabi (AS) in 2020.

Esfahanian Moghaddam also stressed the municipality’s services in the field of traffic in district 4, saying since 2014, 66 geometric correction projects have been implemented in the region.

He went on to say that 11 pedestrian bridges have been installed in the region in the last 6 years, noting that district 4 of Qom is one of the regions that has developed significantly in recent years.

Furthermore, he emphasized the effect of the district’s development on the city’s economic growth.

Passages such as Shahid Ayatollah Sadoughi Boulevard, Mohammad Amin Boulevard, Jomhuri Eslami Boulevard, Ferdowsi Boulevard, etc. are among the economic bottlenecks in Qom, the municipal official said, adding due to the development of these axes in district 4, this economic development has been achieved.
