The head of the Waste Management Organization of Qom Municipality has announced that students increasingly participate in the waste separation plan at home.
Referring to holding physical training courses in schools, Seyyed Abdullah Mirebrahimi said presenting waste management concepts to students has been one of the educational programs and priorities of the organization, which has been implemented in the form of collective programs and recycling partners plan.
The Waste Management Organization of Qom Municipality has trained elementary school students and equipped school storage tanks with the aim of attracting the engagement of students and headmasters in the waste segregation plan in different courses, Mirebrahimi reiterated.
He noted that as the Corona virus pandemic has prevented schools from holding and providing citizenship culture education, the students connect with schools through social media.
Touching upon the observance of hygienic instructions in recycling booths, he stated that the organization are now teaching the students by presenting educational concepts to them and holding various competitions on the subject of waste management concepts, then they can go to recycling booths and receive various prizes.
