Qom municipality opens 3 new parks

Following the ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan on the fifth week, the inauguration ceremony of the green space projects of Qom Municipality was held in the presence of provincial officials and urban management.

In a ceremony attended by the Qom governor, the mayor, the chairman and members of the Islamic Council of the city, and other provincial and city officials, the executive operation of three new parks began.

The projects include operating Taravat Park, beginning the construction operation of Kuhsar Park, and the second stage of Rezvan Forest Park.

The construction of Taravat Park, which is located on Pardisan Boulevard, has cost more than 50 billion rials. The project was started in 2019 and now it is ready to be used in an area of 50,340 square meters.

Developing recreational green space, increasing the per capita green space of the region, as well as creating entertainment for citizens are among major goals of this project.

Prayer hall, snack buffet, bathroom, parking, game and sports complex are some of the facilities and infrastructures available in Taravat Park.

Kuhsar Park also started to be operated on the fifth week of the inaugurations of the municipality’s urban projects in the framework of ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan.

Over 48 billion Rials has been spent on the construction of Kuhsar Park which was started in 2017 and scheduled to be operational in 2021.

The park has a green space of 120,000 square meters, which includes facilities such as a prayer hall, snack buffet, bathroom, parking, game complex and sports set.

Finally, the executive operation of the second stage of Rezvan Forest Park started to begin with a credit of 42 billion and 880 million rials.

The executive operation of Rezvan Forest Park, which is located in an area of 400,000 square meters at the end of Mohtasham Kashani Boulevard, has started in 2018 and will be put into operation by the end of this year.

The green space project follows the same aims as Taravat Park and Kuhsar Park and will have similar facilities and infrastructures.
